Construction and installation of anti-temporary support structures in construction

According to Subsection 2.3, section 2 of the national technical regulation on construction safety promulgated together with the Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BXD on construction and installation of temporary support structures:

In the course of construction and installation of anti-temporary support structures, the construction and installation of these structures must comply with regulations on construction jobs specified in this Regulation.

EXAMPLES: Temporary supporting structures used for construction of bridge beams made of reinforced concrete pile foundations, steel frames manufactured in factories and installed at construction sites. In this case, at the construction site, the safety assurance must be carried out in accordance with this regulation applicable to the following tasks: lowering piles (see 2.12), pouring concrete (see 2.11), erecting steel structures (see 2.10), using scaffolds (see 2.2), using lifting equipment (see 2.4) and other related safety tasks.

Removal of anti-temporary support structures

According to sub-section 2.3, section 2 of the national technical regulation on construction safety promulgated together with the Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BXD stipulates the regulation on removal of temporary support structures as follows:

-The employer must carry out inspection and supervision to ensure that the supporting structures and their parts are dismantled in accordance with the order and conditions for dismantlement of each item, part and the whole of temporary supporting structures (including partial and full removal) in accordance with the provisions of the design dossier.

After the anti-temporary support structures are partly dismantled and the anti-supporting structures are further used, the construction, inspection, supervision, observation, use and maintenance must comply with the regulations from 2.3.1 to 2.3.6.

- With regard to countervailing beneficiaries being construction parts or components, the entire provisional supporting structure may be dismantled only when the beneficiaries are resistant to the force-bearing conditions and conformable to the design's requirements, provided that it is approved by the site commander and the chief supervisor of the investor (or EPC contractor).

NOTE: With regard to other beneficiaries of anti-aids such as tunnels, towers, super lots used in construction, machines, equipment and other countervailing beneficiaries, the contractor shall decide to remove a part or the whole of the provisional anti-aids according to his/her demand and request for land use at the construction site.

The abovementioned regulations are the regulations on construction, installation or dismantling of anti-aids structure according to the technical regulation issued together with the Circular No. 16/2021/TT-BXD which comes into force from June 20, 2022.
