1. When will the license for provision of tour be re-issued?

Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 34 of the Law Tourism 2017, the reissuance of the license for provision of tour is as follows:

The provider shall apply for reissuance of the license for provision of tour in case such license is lost or damaged.

2. Conditions for re-issuance of international travel service business license in Vietnam

- The enterprise is established as prescribed by the law on enterprises;

- The enterprise must make has paid a deposit to a bank

+ Business travel services for international tourists to Vietnam: VND 50,000,000;

+ Business travel services for tourists going abroad: 100,000,000 VND;

+ Business travel services for international tourists to Vietnam and tourists going abroad: 100,000,000 VND.

- The person in charge of the travel service business must have a college degree or higher, majoring in travel; If you graduate from a college or higher in another major, you must have an international tourism management certificate.

+ The person in charge of the travel service business is the person holding one of the following titles: chairman of the board of directors; the chairman of the members' council; company president; private business owners; general manager; director or deputy director; Head of travel service business.

+ The major in tourism is shown on the diploma of one of the following professions, professions or majors:

(1) Management of tourism and travel services;

(2) Travel management;

(3) Tour operator;

(4) Tourism marketing;

(5) Tourism;

(6) Travel and tourism;

(7) Management and business of tourism.

(8) MICE Tourism Management;

(9) Travel agents;

(10) Guided tours;

(11) Sectors, professions or majors that can show one of the phrases "tourist", "travel", "tour guide" which are trained and awarded by an educational institution in Vietnam before the time of graduation. Point Circular 06/2017/TT-BVHTTDL takes effect (February 1, 2018);

(12) Sectors, professions and majors that can show one of the phrases "tourist", "travel", "tour guide" which are trained and awarded diplomas by foreign training institutions.

In case the diploma does not show the fields, occupations or majors specified in (11), (12), the graduation transcript or diploma appendix showing the industry, profession or major, including one in the phrases "tourist", "travel", "tour guide".

3. Application for re-issuance of international travel service business license in Vietnam

* Number of records: 01 (set).

4. Procedures for re-issuance of international travel service business license in Vietnam

Step 1: The enterprise sends an application for re-issuance of an international travel service business license to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in case the license for international travel service business is lost or damaged;

Step 2: Within 05 working days from the date of receiving the application from the enterprise, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is responsible for re-granting the international travel service business license to the enterprise and notifying the Department of Tourism. Calendar/Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism where the business is located; In case of refusal, it must be notified in writing and clearly state the reasons therefor.

* Instruction: Send in person or online via the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism or by post to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (via the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism of Vietnam).

* Fees and charges: VND 1,500,000/license (Circular 33/2018/TT-BTC)
