- The cost of testing biological products according to the bidding results of the unit is 50,000 VND/test.
- The total cost of performing the SARS-CoV-2 Ag rapid test service is 66,400 VND/test.
- The price of SARS-CoV-2 Ag rapid test service is 66,400 VND/test.
=>> The unit is collected from the tester, paid with the Health Insurance Fund (proportional), and paid with the state budget is 66,400 VND/test (not collected and paid up to 109,700 VND/test).
Instructions for determining the price and payment for the service “SARS-CoV-2 testing by Realtime RT-PCR” application form in Vietnam:
For example:
- The price including direct costs, and salary costs of the unit according to the price of medical examination and treatment covered by health insurance or approved by a competent authority (excluding biologicals for testing) is 166,800 VND/ test.
- The cost of biological products for testing (reaction and extraction) (or buying separate chemical products for Realtime RT-PCR reaction and extracted biological products) according to the bidding results of the unit is 300,000 VND/test.
- The total cost of SARS-CoV-2 testing service by Realtime RT-PCR single sample is 466,800 VND/test.
- The price of SARS-CoV-2 testing service by Realtime RT-PCR technique for single sample is 466,800 VND/test.
=>> The unit is collected from the tester, paid to the Health Insurance Fund (proportionately), paid to the state budget at the price of 466,800 VND/test (not collected and paid at the maximum rate of 518,400 VND/test).
Guidelines for pricing and payment for the service “SARS-CoV-2 testing by Realtime RT-PCR” pooled sample in Vietnam:
For example:
- The price level including direct costs, salary costs of the unit according to the price of medical examination and treatment covered by health insurance or approved by a competent authority is according to the maximum level specified in this Circular.
- The cost of biological products for testing (reaction and extraction) (or buying separate chemical products for Realtime RT-PCR reaction and extracted biological products) according to the bidding results of the unit is 300,000 VND/test.
- The price of SARS-CoV-2 testing service by Realtime RT-PCR with sample pooling is done as follows:
+ In case the unit implements the plan to combine 5 sticks in the field, the price is 154,300 VND/test, including: the cost of taking and preserving samples is 31,600 VND/test; the cost of performing the test and returning the results is 62,700 VND/test; The cost of biological products for testing is 60,000 VND/test (300,000/5 due to the cost of 1 test product divided by 5 samples).
+ In case the unit implements the plan to combine 8 sticks in the field, the price is 113,500 VND/test, including: the cost of taking and preserving samples is 30,200 VND/test; the cost of performing the test and returning the results is 45,800 VND/test; The cost of biological products for testing is 37,500 VND/test (300,000/8 due to the cost of 1 test product divided by 8 samples).
+ In case the unit implements the plan to combine 5 samples at the laboratory, the price is 199,300 VND/test, including: the cost of taking and preserving samples is 65,900 VND/test; the cost of performing the test and returning the results is VND 73,400/test; The cost of biological products for testing is 60,000 VND/test (300,000/5 due to the cost of 1 test product divided by 5 samples).
+ In case the unit implements the plan to combine 10 samples at the laboratory, the price is 152,500 VND/test, including: the cost of taking and preserving samples is 66,800 VND/test; the cost of performing the test and returning the results is 55,700 VND/test; The cost of biological products for testing is 30,000 VND/test (300,000/10 due to the cost of 1 test product divided by 10 samples).
