In compliance with the directive from the City's People's Committee in Official Dispatch 1152/UBND-VX dated March 27, 2020, regarding the temporary cessation of operations of service establishments and restrictions on mass gatherings to prevent and control COVID-19, the Food Safety Management Board requests that the People's Committee of 24 districts and counties disseminate guidelines to food service establishments in the area (stores, stalls, eateries, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, office canteens, hospitals, street food vendors) as follows:
- Do not serve food and beverages on the premises. Only allow for take-out, placing orders, sales via phone, and delivery services;- Strictly adhere to hygiene regulations for disease prevention and ensure food safety. Especially ensure a minimum distance of 2 meters between 2 individuals and maintain safety during pick-up and delivery;- Entities that prepare ready-to-eat meals intended for external distribution, and the company and factory canteens, may continue normal operations, but must implement safety measures for disease prevention for diners, reduce the number of people using the cafeteria at the same time, and maintain a minimum distance of 2 meters between diners.
Note: The enforcement period for the above measures is from March 28, 2020, to the end of April 15, 2020.
