National Day September 2 is a big holiday every year. On the occasion of the National Day holiday on September 2, 2022, officials and public employees in Vietnam can have four consecutive days off.

Article 112 of the Labor Code 2019 stipulates:
Employees are entitled to take days off and receive full salary on the occasion of National Day: 02 days (the 2nd of September of the Gregorian calendar and the previous or next day).
According to Official Dispatch 245/VPCP-KGVX 2022 on Vietnames Lunar New Year and National Day holidays in 2022 of officials, public employees and employees:
Officials, public employees and employees are entitled to Vietnamese National Day holiday on September 2, 2022 from September 1, 2022 to the end of September 2, 2022.
For officials, public employees and employees working under the regime of 2 days off per week (Saturday and Sunday), the National Day holiday on September 2, 2022 will be extended for 4 consecutive days (from Thursday, September 1, 2022 to the end of Sunday, September 4, 2022).
For employees working under the regime of one day off per week (Sunday), they are only entitled to two consecutive days off (from September 1, 2022 to the end of September 2, 2022).
