Resolution 126/NQ-CP amend Resolution 68/NQ-CP in 2021 stipulates more cases of business households that have stopped operating due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic to receive support with the level of 3 million VND/household.

Specifically, Resolution 126 of Vietnam has amended and supplemented Clause 10, Section II of Resolution 68 as follows:
The business household has business registration and is in the directory of the tax authority; Households doing business in agriculture, forestry, fishery, salt making, and those selling street goods, snacks, trips, mobile businesses, seasonal businesses, and service providers with low incomes without register as household businesses. The business must stop operating for 15 consecutive days or more at the request of a competent state agency to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic or because there is a business located in the locality that implements epidemic prevention and control measures under the principles of Directive 16/CT-TTG, the period from May 1, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021 will receive a one-time support of 3,000,000 VND/household from the state budget.
Previously, Resolution 68 of Vietnam stipulates policies to support business households applicable to business households having business registration, tax registration and must stop operating for 15 consecutive days or more from May 1, 2021 to the end of December 31, 2021 at the request of competent state agencies to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic.
Therefore, Resolution 126 of Vietnam adds the case of households doing business in agriculture, forestry, fishery, salt making and street vendors, snacks, trips, mobile businesses, seasonal businesses, and services with low incomes who do not have to register as business households receive support compared to the provisions in Resolution 68.
In addition, Resolution 126 also adds support policies for F0 and F1 who are the elderly and people with severe disabilities, especially severely disabled people according to the provisions of the law on social assistance. Specifically:
Elderly and severely disabled people, people with extremely severe disabilities as prescribed in Clauses 5 and 6, Article 5 of Decree 20/2021/ND-CP, must be treated for COVID-19 infection (F0) or medical isolation under the regulations of the competent state agency (F1), the state budget will support an additional 1,000,000 VND/person during the period of treatment and isolation from April 27, 2021 to the end of 31 December 2021.
Article 5. Social protection beneficiaries eligible for monthly social benefits
...5. The elderly who are:
a) living in poor households, deprived of individuals with obligations and rights to care or living with individuals with obligations and rights to care who are benefiting from monthly social benefits; or
b) from 75 to 80 years of age, living in poor or near-poor households, not specified under Point a of this Clause and living in ethnic minorities in communes, hamlets and mountainous regions; or
c) of 80 years of age or older, not specified under Clause a of this Clause and receiving no pension, monthly social security benefits or monthly social benefits; or
d) living in poor households, having no individuals with obligations and rights to care for, inadequate to live in community, adequate to be admitted to social support facilities and receiving care, nurture in community.
6. Individuals with severe disabilities and individuals with very severe disabilities according to regulations and law on individuals with disabilities.
