The Ordinance on Fees and Charges 2001, after nearly 13 years of practical implementation, has revealed many inconsistencies and limitations. The Law on Fees and Charges 2015 was enacted to address these limitations. To be specific: Clearly defines the scope of regulation and subjects of application; the list of fees and charges issued with the law includes 213 types of fees, 103 types of charges, and 17 services converted from fees to state-set service prices; regulations on fee and charge exemptions and reductions.
