Recently, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City issued Official Dispatch No. 1490/UBND-VX regarding the continued implementation of Covid-19 prevention and control measures in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Chairman of the City People's Committee - Head of the City's COVID-19 Prevention Steering Committee requires the following sectors to continue suspending operations until further notice:
- Beauty facilities, cosmetic surgery, spas, physical therapy, massage, and sauna; entertainment centers, theaters, cinemas, wedding centers, nightclubs, bars, karaoke, pubs, beer clubs, singing clubs; electronic game businesses (Internet, online games), sports centers, and indoor sports business facilities.- Receiving new guests at lodging facilities operating under the Homestay, Airbnb model.- Religious ceremonies and activities with gatherings of 20 people or more at religious, belief, worship establishments.- Activities and meetings with gatherings of more than 20 people.- Gathering of more than 20 people in public places, outside the scope of offices, schools, and hospitals.
Thus, the activities mentioned above do not include restaurants, eateries, and coffee shops, so from April 23, 2020, these activities will resume normal operation. However, they must still adhere to social distancing, continue strictly wearing masks in public places and workplaces. Ensure a minimum contact distance of 2 meters between people in public places.
And strictly follow the contents of the set of criteria for assessing the level of safety in COVID-19 prevention and control issued by state agencies; subject to management and supervision by functional agencies and local authorities.
