The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court requested the Chief Justice of the Courts and heads of units of the Supreme People's Court to focus on leading, directing, and organizing the strict implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures after this:

For the Courts of Quang Ninh and Hai Duong provinces:

- To suspend the organization of meetings, adjudication and settlement of cases and cases, except for cases and cases that have expired the time limit for settlement (including the extension period) and are required to open a court session. The meeting shall comply with the provisions of the procedural law but must take good measures to prevent and control the epidemic.

- To request civil servants, employees, procedure-conducting people, and procedure participants when coming to the Court to voluntarily declare information about their travel history to places at risk of infection. We will implement measures to prevent and control the epidemic, such as checking body temperature, disinfecting hands, and wearing masks while working at the court.

For other courts

- To implement social distancing and isolation at the request of local authorities. Request civil servants and workers who have traveled to Quang Ninh and Hai Duong provinces since January 12, 2021 to self-isolate and work from home within 14 days from the date of their return from these localities.

- To suspend all delegations on business, study, or sightseeing trips to Quang Ninh and Hai Duong provinces, except for special cases approved by the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

- To request civil servants, employees, procedure-conducting people, and procedure participants when coming to the Court to voluntarily declare information about their contact history and travel history and strictly comply with epidemic prevention and control requirements, check body temperature, disinfect hands, and wear masks during the working time at the Court.

Note: During this time, the courts give priority to trial and settlement cases and cases related to the prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic; cases serving local political tasks; serious cases of public concern; and not holding meetings and mass gathering activities.
