Cases of deletion of party's names in Vietnam and regulations on the complaint of deletion of party's names are stipulated in Regulation 24/QD-TW July 30, 2021

1. 05 cases of deleting party members' names in Vietnam

Officers shall consider and request competent committees to decide on the deletion of names on the list of party members in Vietnam in the following cases:

- Party members quit their party activities or do not pay fees for three months in the year without a good reason;

- Party members arbitrarily return party cards or self-destruct party cards;

- Party members reduced their will to strive, did not perform their party tasks, were trained in education but after a period of 12 months strived not to make progress;

- Party members for two consecutive years violate their membership in Vietnam;

- Party members fail to meet political standards as prescribed by the Politburo of Vietnam.

2. To settle complaints about deletion of party members' names in Vietnam.

2.1. Time limit for the deletion complaints of a party members' names in Vietnam

Within 30 working days after receiving the decision to delete the name, the party member in Vietnam has the right to complain to the superior committee until the Party Central Committee Secretariat.

2.2. Time limit for complaints settlement of party members' names deletion in Vietnam

The organizing agency of the committee is responsible for advising the committee to settle complaints.

The time limit for settlement of complaints is stipulated as follows:

+ Not more than 90 working days for provincial, district and equivalent levels, from the date of receiving complaints in Vietnam;

+ Not more than 180 working days for the central level, from the date of receiving the complaint.

2.3. Cases of not resolving complaints about deletion of party members' names in Vietnam

Failing to resolve the following complaints:

+ Having been considered and concluded by the highest authority in Vietnam;

+ Individual or collective complaints on behalf of others;

+ Complaints when no decision has been made to remove the name of the competent party committee in Vietnam.

Note: The above complaint settlement only applies to party members in Vietnam, while the complaint settlement on deletion of name for party members abroad has its own provisions.
