On October 21, 2024, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 134/2024/ND-CP on the policy to increase revenues from import-export activities through Nghi Son Seaport, Thanh Hoa Province. This includes regulations on determining the revenues from import-export activities through Nghi Son Seaport.
According to Notice 375/TB-VPCP dated August 13, 2024, the Government of Vietnam has directed the Ministry of Industry and Trade to strive to achieve an import-export turnover target for the year 2024 of approximately 750 – 800 billion USD.
On November 06, 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Circular 41/2018/TT-BCT regulating the list of temporarily suspended scrap materials for temporary import, re-export, and transit in Vietnam.
The cost standards for importing, exporting food, supplies, rescue equipment, common industrial encouragement materials, and national strategic salt reserves are directly managed by the General Department of State Reserves of Vietnam.
