The Ministry of Finance is drafting a Circular on the management and use of funds for implementing policies to support voluntary drug detoxification. Notable in the Draft is the content on the expenditure levels for organizing voluntary drug detoxification at home and in the community.

The specific expenditure levels are as follows:
- Cost for preparing voluntary drug addiction treatment records at home and in the community: 30,000 VND per record;- Support cost for staff participating in drug addiction treatment during the withdrawal treatment period concentrated in the community: 100,000 VND per person per day;- Support cost for staff managing and protecting addicts during the withdrawal treatment period concentrated in the community: 50,000 VND per person per day;- Support cost for staff assigned to provide psychological and social counseling to addicts: 50,000 VND per addict per counseling session; 70,000 VND per group of addicts (two or more people) per counseling session.
Draft Circular on managing and using funds for implementing support policies for voluntary drug addicts is still under consultation.
