- Admission to People's Public Security Schools is carried out on the basis of a combination of tests measuring political standards, moral qualities, academic ability, health, and aptitudes of candidates according to the Ministry of Public Security's separate regulations and the results of the entrance exam, recruitment, and selection according to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
2. Regulations on enrollment for postgraduate training in people's police schools in Vietnam
Regulations on enrollment for postgraduate training in People's Public Security Schools in Vietnam according to Articles 4 and 5 of Circular 15/2016/TT-BCA are as follows:
* Admission for doctoral training:
- Subjects and conditions for registration:
+ Subjects: Lecturers, teachers, and educational administrators in People's Public Security schools; cadres who are leaders at the divisional level and equivalent or higher in the Public Security of units and localities; Job titles require a doctoral degree.
+ Conditions to apply for admission: In addition to the regulations on registration conditions according to the current doctoral training regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates must have a master's degree in the relevant field or majors relevant to the training majors at the doctoral level and be not more than 50 years old.
Those who have a university degree with good grades in the right major or a major in line with the training major at the doctoral level may apply for doctoral candidates at the People's Public Security schools, and the head of the training institution must develop the training content and program and report it to the General Department of Politics of the People's Public Security for approval before organizing the recruitment examination. .
- Time and form of enrollment: Comply with the current doctoral training regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and guidance of the Ministry of Public Security.

+ Subjects: Lecturers, teachers, and educational administrators in the People's Public Security Schools; officials with the titles of experts and assistants in scientific research and advisory work under the Ministry's agency; commanders at the team level and equivalent or higher of the police units and localities.
+ Conditions for registering for the exam: Comply with the current regulations on training for master's degrees of the Ministry of Education and Training and ensure the following requirements:
++ Degrees: Having a university degree in a discipline relevant to or relevant to the major or major at the master's level; in case of graduating from a university with a major or major different from that of the master's program, the master's degree training exam shall be conducted in accordance with the regulations on training at the master's level of the Ministry of Education and Training and the guidance of the Ministry of Public Security.
++ Working time and age: Candidates must have at least 24 (two and a half) months of practical experience or more (from the date of graduation to the date of the exam); they cannot be older than 45 years old.
