1. What is the medal "For the Cause of Inspectorate"?

According to Clause 1, Article 2 of Circular 01/2017/TT-TTCP, commemorating the medal "For the Cause of Inspectorate" is a form of reward of the Government Inspectorate for individuals who have made contributions to the cause of construction and development of the Vietnam Inspectorate.

Specifically, medals have symbols, shapes, sizes, and colors that represent the characteristics of the Vietnamese Inspectorate, in accordance with the general regulations of the State Attached to the Medal is a Certificate of Commemorative Award "For the Cause of Inspectorate".

2. Objects of consideration and award of the medal "For the Cause of Inspectorate" in Vietnam

Specifically, in Article 4 of Circular 01/2017/TT-TTCP, the recipients of the medal "For the Cause of Inspectorate" include:

(1) Cadres, civil servants, public employees, officers, non-commissioned officers, and employees who have been working in State inspection agencies, including:

- Leader of the Government Inspector;

- Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at the Government Inspectorate;

- Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at State inspection organizations under ministries and ministerial-level agencies (hereinafter referred to as ministerial inspectorates), including:

+ Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at the Ministry Inspectorate;

+ Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at State inspection agencies under the General Department, Department, or the equivalent according to the provisions of the Government's Decrees on the organization and operation of the Inspectorate;

+ Officers, non-commissioned officers, and employees working at State inspection agencies according to the provisions of the Government's Decrees on the organization and operation of the National Defense Inspectorate and the Public Security Inspectorate.

- Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at the Inspectorate of provinces and centrally run cities (hereinafter referred to as the Provincial Inspector);

- Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at Departmental Inspectors and the equivalent (hereinafter referred to as Department Inspectors);

- Civil servants, public employees, and employees working at the Inspectorate of districts, urban districts, towns, provincial cities, and cities under the Central Government (hereinafter collectively referred to as district inspectorates).

(2) Individuals with achievements in leading and directing, contributing to the construction and development of Vietnam's inspectorate, including:

- Leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of political and social organizations at the central level;

- Leaders of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

- Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the province and city directly under the Central Government; Presidents and Vice Presidents of People's Councils and People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities;

- Leaders of the Fatherland Front, leaders of socio-political organizations of provinces and centrally run cities; Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the district party committee, district party committee, town committee, city party committee of the province; Chairmen, Vice-Chairmen of People's Councils, People's Committees of districts, towns, and provincial cities;

- Director, Deputy Director of Department and equivalent.

(3) Individuals who are overseas Vietnamese or foreigners who have contributed to the cause of the construction and development of the Vietnam Inspectorate.

(4) Other cases at the request of departments, agencies, and units under the Government Inspectorate and the Standing Committee of the Inspectorate's Emulation - Commendation.

3. Subjects ineligible for or yet being considered for the Medal "For the Cause of Inspectorate" in Vietnam

Objects ineligible for or yet being considered for the Medal include:

- Not considering awarding medals to individuals who have been forced to quit their jobs or stripped of their military citizenship, stripped of the titles of the People's Police or the People's Army.

- Not considering awarding Medals to individuals who are in the period of disciplinary consideration; the person is being disciplined from reprimand or more; a person who is being investigated, prosecuted, tried, or convicted, is serving a criminal sentence.

The time for disciplining and serving the criminal sentence, including the time when the discipline has not been cleared or the criminal record has not been removed, shall not be counted into the time for consideration of the award of the Medal.
