Members of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, according to Article 3 of Decision 282/QD-TTg dated February 25, 2022, are as follows:

* Chairman of the Committee: First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

* Committee Vice Chairs:

- Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Standing Vice Chairman of the Committee;

- Deputy Minister of Home Affairs;

- Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

* Committee members:

- Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids, and Social Affairs;

- Deputy Minister of Finance;

- Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment;

- Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism;

- Deputy Minister of Information and Communications;

- Deputy Minister of Science and Technology;

- Deputy Minister of Health;

- Deputy Minister of Public Security;

- Deputy Minister of Justice;

- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs;

- Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities;

- Vice Chairman of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army;

- Inviting leaders of the following mass organizations and central agencies to participate:

+ Committee on Culture and Education of the National Assembly;

+ Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front;

+ Vietnam General Confederation of Labor;

+ Vietnam Women's Union;

+ Vietnam Veterans Association;

+ Vietnam Farmers Association.

2. Operation mechanism of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam

According to Article 4 of Decision 282/QD-TTg dated February 25, 2022, the operation mechanism of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam is as follows:

- The operation mechanism of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam is implemented according to the principle of inter-sectoral coordination, with the assignment of tasks and implementation responsibilities to its members.

- A member of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam works on a part-time basis.

- The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is the standing body of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam and has the responsibility to ensure the operating conditions and use their apparatus to organize the performance of the Committee's tasks as prescribed.

- The Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam shall decide on the list of members of the Committee at the proposal of relevant agencies specified in Article 3 of Decision 282/QD-TTg dated February 25, 2022. .

- The Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam decided to establish a Secretariat, an assisting office to ensure lean principles, effective and efficient operation.

Members of the Secretariat work on a part-time basis, and the Office of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam uses the staff of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to perform its tasks.

- The Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam elaborates and promulgates the Regulation on the operation of the Committee, is responsible to the Prime Minister for all activities of the Committee.

- Heads of organizations represented by members of the Committee shall have to appoint cadres and civil servants to assist and direct their agencies and organizations to perform assigned tasks and coordinate with them.

3. Legal status and operating budget of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam

Legal status and operating budget of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, according to Article 5 of Decision 282/QD-TTg dated February 25, 2022, are as follows:

- The National Committee on Youth of Vietnam is allowed to use its own seal, according to regulations.

- Funding for the operation of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam is guaranteed by the state budget and is included in the regular operating budget estimate of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and other lawful funding sources (if any).
