What is the process for receiving unemployment benefits on the National Public Service portal?

Pursuant to the Process promulgated together with Official Letter 1399/LDTBXH-VL dated May 4, 2022, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs stipulates the process of receiving unemployment benefits on the National Public Service portal as follows:

Description of the process of receiving unemployment benefits on the National Public Service portal:

(1) Step 1: Employees register for an account, log in on the National Public Service portal and perform:

- Search and choose to submit public services: Settlement of unemployment benefits - Enter information on the application for unemployment benefits according to form No. 01 - Attach documents:

+ Photocopies or scans of documents proving the termination of labor contracts or working contracts as prescribed.

Choose to send the Employment Service Center under the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to receive and process the application.

(2) Step 2: The National Public Service Portal automatically transfers employee information (including full name, ID card/CCCD/passport number, Social insurance book number, employment contract termination date/ employment contract) through the system of the Social Insurance agency.

(3) Step 3: After receiving the employee's information transferred from the National Public Service Portal, the social insurance agency is responsible for checking the employee's information.

(4) Step 4: Within 16 working days from the date of receiving the unemployment insurance participation data of employees transferred by social insurance on the National Public Service Portal, the staff of the Service Center The employment service shall review and send dossiers of eligible employees for support and submit them to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in accordance with regulations (depending on the conditions of each locality, the Employment Service Center and the Department of Labor).
