At present, the Government of Vietnam is drafting a Decree stipulating penalties for administrative violations in the fields of judicial assistance; judicial administration; marriage and family; civil judgment enforcement; and insolvency of enterprises and cooperatives.

Regarding the act of forging a lawyer practicing certificate, lawyer's practice registration certificate, certificate of participation in litigation, or defense attorney certificate, a fine ranging from VND 20,000,000 to VND 30,000,000 will be imposed.

Additionally, for the act of forging documents in the application dossier for a lawyer practicing certificate, lawyer's practice registration certificate, or lawyer's practice license in Vietnam, a fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 15,000,000 will be imposed.
Furthermore, an additional penalty of revoking the right to use the practicing certificate for 6 to 12 months will be applied. The forged documents will be canceled, and the illegal proceeds obtained from the aforementioned acts must be surrendered.
