1. Penalties for drivers of cars using their phones while driving in Vietnam

- The driver of a car and similar vehicles using a mobile phone while driving on the road in Vietnam shall be subject to a fine of from VND 2,000,000 to VND 3,000,000.

+ Deprivation of the right to use the Driving License from 01 month to 03 months.

2. Penalties for motorists using their phones while driving in Vietnam

- Persons who are driving motorcycles, mopeds (including electric motorcycles), similar motorcycles and similar mopeds using mobile phones, audio devices, except hearing aids in Vietnam shall be subject to a fine of between VND 800,000 and VND 1,000,000.
