According to the current Decree 100/2019/ND-CP and Decree 123/2021/ND-CP, the errors and fines for traffic violations on Vietnamese highways are regulated as follows:
1. Penalties for cars, cars of all kinds when the range is above Vietnam's high speed
- Payment of money from 4,000,000 VND to 6,000,000 VND in the following cases:
+ Failure to comply with regulations when entering or exiting the expressway;
+ Driving the vehicle at high speed or on the side of the highway;
+ It is not allowed to move on the right road or there is no warning signal when running on the highway;
+ Failure to comply with regulations on safe distance for vehicles running seamlessly when running on highways.
- Payment of money from 10,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND in the following cases:
+ Stopping, parking on the highway in violation of regulations;
+ No signal to the other drive people know when the stop must be stop the car, the car on the high speed is not wrong seek;
+ Make a U-turn on the highway.
- Payment from 16,000,000 VND to 18,000,000 VND in case of driving in the opposite direction on the highway, reverse on the highway, except for priority vehicles on duty as prescribed.
2. Penalties for drivers of motorcycles, mopeds (including mopeds), and other vehicles are similar when the range is on Vietnamese highways
- Payment of money from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND in case of driving the vehicle on the highway, except for the server for management and maintenance of the highway.
- Payment from 4,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND in case of entering the expressway, stopping, stopping, turning, reversing, avoiding, overtaking, changing direction, changing direction in contravention of regulations intended to cause a traffic accident.
- Payment from VND 800,000 to VND 1,000,000 in the following cases:
+ Failure to comply with regulations when entering or exiting the expressway;

- Payment of money from 3,000,000 VND to 5,000,000 VND in the following cases:
+ Stopping, parking on the highway in violation of regulations;
+ No signal to the other drive people know when the stop must be stop the car, the car on the high speed is not wrong seek;
+ Make a U-turn on the highway.
- Payment of money from 10,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND in the following cases:
+ Backing up on the highway; reverse on the highway;
+ Controlling specialized vehicles with designed speeds of less than 70 km/h, machines entering highways, except for vehicles and equipment for highway management and maintenance;
3. Penalties for drivers of bicycles, motorbikes (including electric bicycles), and rudimentary vehicle operators are different when the scope is on Vietnamese highways
Payment of money from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND in the field control vehicle entering the highway, except for the server vehicle for management and maintenance of the highway.
4. Penalties for pedestrians when the range on Vietnamese highways
Payment from 100,000 VND to 200,000 VND in case of entering the expressway, except for the manager of work and maintenance of the highway.
5. Penalties for user controls, control methods, and driving vehicles are prolonged when the range is above high speed
Payment from 400,000 VND to 600,000 VND in case of illegally entering the expressway.
6. Penalties for violations on Vietnamese highways in some other cases
- Payment of money from 10,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND for drivers of passenger cars, owner cars and other types of cars that operate sovereign cars and return passengers on highways.
- Payment of money from 10,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND for user-controlled cars, machines (including the unit or the towed diagram) and corresponding cars. Goods transfer is done by receiving and returning goods on the highway.
- Payment from 10,000,000 VND to 12,000,000 VND for individuals; from VND 20,000,000 to VND 24,000,000 for transport business organizations, transport support service providers that use transport business cars to pick up and drop off passengers; pick up and drop off on the highway.
