Vietnam: Written paper in the national high school graduation examination shall be rounded to the nearest one hundredth according to new regulations

This is a new notable content mentioned in Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam on amendments to the regulation on national high school graduation examination promulgated together with Circular No. 04/2017/TT-BGDĐT.

Specifically, according to the current Regulation, written paper is graded on scale 0-10, counted up to 0,25; no round up of final score.

However, according to new regulations of Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, written paper is graded on scale 0-10,the total score shall be rounded to the nearest one hundredth.

3. Point a Clause 1 of Article 25 is amended as follows:

“Grading members shall follow the grading instructions, answers and scales of the Ministry of Education and Training. Written paper is graded on scale 0-10,the total score shall be rounded to the nearest one hundredth.”

Besides, candidates who meet the requirement of taking the exam, have no discipline record at the level of score disposal, have no subject within the chosen 4 tests scored with 1 point in scale 1-10 and have the grade-point average for graduation recognition from 5 and above are qualified to be recognized.
