The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued 4 Circulars regulating codes, standards of professional titles, and the appointment and salary ranking of preschool, primary, secondary, and high school teachers. These circulars will take effect in Vietnam on March 20, 2021.

One of the notable contents specified in these 4 Circulars is the regulation that preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school teachers will receive salaries according to 3 professional title classes. In particular, titles of primary, secondary, and high school teachers in classes I, II, and III apply to teachers who have a bachelor's degree in the teacher training field or higher; titles of preschool teachers in classes I, II, and III apply to teachers who have graduated from a pedagogical college or higher.
