DOWNLOAD Draft Circular stipulating codes, standards for professional titles, and appointment, salary arrangement for public preschool teachers

This Draft stipulates and guides salary arrangement for preschool teacher ranks under the Circular, still applying the salary scale as per the regulations in Decree 204/2004/ND-CP of Vietnam's Government, specifically as follows:

- The professional title of preschool teacher rank III will apply the salary coefficient of public employee category A0 (from salary coefficient 2.10 to salary coefficient 4.89);

- The professional title of preschool teacher rank II will apply the salary coefficient of public employee category A1 (from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98);

- The professional title of preschool teacher rank I will apply the salary coefficient of public employee category A2, group A2.2 (from salary coefficient 4.0 to salary coefficient 6.38);

- The professional title of preschool teacher rank IV will apply the salary coefficient of public employee category B (from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06).

In addition, the Draft also stipulates that public employees who have been appointed to the professional titles of preschool teacher rank IV, rank III, rank II as per the regulations in Joint Circular 20/2015/TTLT-BGDDT-BNV will be appointed to the professional titles of preschool teachers stipulated in this Draft as follows:

- Preschool teacher rank IV (code V.07.02.06) who meets the standards of rank III as stipulated in Article 4 of this Circular will be appointed to the professional title of preschool teacher rank III;

- Preschool teacher rank III (code V.07.02.05) who meets the standards of rank II as stipulated in Article 5 of this Circular will be appointed to the professional title of preschool teacher rank II; Preschool teacher rank III (code V.07.02.05) who does not meet the standards of rank II as stipulated in Article 5 of this Circular will be appointed to the professional title of preschool teacher rank III;

- Preschool teacher rank II (code V.07.02.04) who meets the standards of rank I as stipulated in Article 6 of this Circular will be appointed to the professional title of preschool teacher rank I; Preschool teacher rank II (code V.07.02.04) who does not meet the standards of rank I as stipulated in Article 6 of this Circular will be appointed to the professional title of preschool teacher rank II.

Notes:

- Appoint to the professional title of preschool teacher rank IV for teachers who do not meet the standard training level of preschool teachers.

- Newly recruited public employees, after completing the probationary period as stipulated and being evaluated as satisfactory by competent authorities, will be appointed to the appropriate professional title of the preschool teacher rank they were recruited.
