Admission Regulations for Undergraduate and Preschool Education College Programs
This regulation applies to universities, academies, universities, and colleges recruiting for the Preschool Education major (hereinafter collectively referred to as schools), Departments of Education and Training, Bac Lieu Department of Education, Science and Technology (collectively referred to as Departments of Education and Training), and related organizations and individuals involved in the implementation of undergraduate admissions; college-level admissions for the Preschool Education major. This regulation does not apply to recruiting for overseas study or distance education.
The 2020 Admission Regulations will generally stipulate the contents regarding admissions for the aforementioned types of training. At the same time, the 2020 QCTS will replace all contents related to the admission regulations of each type of training previously issued. In particular, the conditions for applying for undergraduate and college-level programs in the Preschool Education major in 2020 are specified in this Regulation as follows:
- Candidates who have graduated from Vietnam's high school program (either formal education or continuing education) or have graduated from the intermediate level (in which case graduates of the intermediate level without a high school diploma must study and pass the required amount of high school cultural knowledge as stipulated by the Education Law and its guiding documents) or have graduated from foreign high school programs (approved and permitted to be conducted abroad, meeting the equivalent high school level in Vietnam) abroad or in Vietnam (collectively referred to as high school graduates).
- Have adequate health for study under current regulations. For disabled persons recognized by competent authorities as having disabilities, deformities, or reduced ability to be self-reliant in daily activities and study, the school's principal shall consider and decide on their application based on their health condition.
- Be within the prescribed age limit for schools or majors with age-specific requirements.
- Meet pre-selection requirements if registering for assessment (DKXT) or sitting exams in schools with pre-selection criteria.
- Have permanent residence in the recruitment area, if DKXT or taking exams in schools with designated recruitment areas.
- Military personnel; officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers on duty in the People's Public Security can only apply to schools specified by the Ministry of National Defense or the Ministry of Public Security after obtaining permission from competent authorities for study; military personnel nearing the end of their mandatory service may apply based on personal aspirations, with the approval of their unit commander from the regiment level or equivalent and must enroll immediately if admitted, without deferring to the following academic year.
