Standards for training qualifications

Salary coefficients​

Class III lower secondary school teacher

 - Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in education for middle school teachers. In case there is a shortage of teachers with a bachelor's degree in the field of teacher education, they must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a professional development certificate in pedagogy for secondary school teachers, according to the program issued by the Minister of Education and Training;

- Possess a professional development certificate according to the professional title standards for grade III lower secondary school teachers (for newly recruited Class III middle school teachers, they must have the certificate within 36 months from the date of recruitment).

Apply the salary coefficient of civil servants in category A1, ranging from 2.34 to 4.98

Class II lower secondary school teacher

 -  Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in education for middle school teachers. In case there is a shortage of teachers with a bachelor's degree in the field of teacher education, they must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a professional development certificate in pedagogy for middle school teachers, according to the program issued by the Minister of Education and Training.

 - Possess a professional development certificate according to the professional title standards for Class II lower secondary school teacher.

Apply the salary coefficient of civil servants in category A2, subgroup A2.2, ranging from 4.00 to 6.38

Class I lower secondary school teacher

 - Possess a master's degree or higher in education for middle school teachers, hold a master's degree or higher in a relevant field of study for the subject being taught, or hold a master's degree or higher in educational management;

- Possess a professional development certificate according to the professional title standards for Class I middle school teachers.
