Hot: Ho Chi Minh City Recruits 456 Teachers and 58 School Staff

On June 29, 2020, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City issued Notification 1968/TB-GDDT-TC on the recruitment of public employees working in public service providers under the Department, for the school year 2020 - 2021.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City plans to recruit 514 public employees, including 456 as teachers and 58 as staff to supplement the demand for teachers and staff at high schools, continuing education centers, and affiliated units that have not been decentralized for recruitment.

1. Form of public employee recruitment in HCMC

The recruitment of public employees is conducted through selection in 2 rounds:

- Round 1: Check the conditions and standards on the Registration Form. If it meets the job position requirements, the candidate will proceed to Round 2.

- Round 2: Practice to check professional and teaching skills (for teachers) or work skills (for staff):

- The practice score is calculated on a 100-point scale;- Practice duration is 45 minutes.

Note: No review of the practice results will be conducted.

2. Public employee recruitment application in HCMC

Candidates for public employee positions must prepare 02 sets of application documents, as follows:

- First set: Candidates submit directly or send by post to the registered unit. The application should be arranged in the following order:

- Registration Form: 01 copy;- Certified copy of ID Card or Citizen ID Card: 01 copy;- Certified copies of professional diplomas; transcript of the entire course; IT certificate; Foreign language certificate: 01 copy;

In cases where the diploma is issued by a foreign educational institution, it must be notarized and translated into Vietnamese and recognized for legality by the Quality Control Department of the Ministry of Education and Training.

- Certified copies of evidence proving priority in recruitment (if any).

- Second set: Candidates submit upon receiving the notification of successful recruitment at the unit, arranged in the following order:

- Autobiographical Resume, certified by the People's Committee of the commune, ward, or town where the permanent residence is registered within 06 months, from the date of submission: 01 copy;- Certified copies of professional diplomas; transcript of the entire course; IT certificate; Foreign language certificate: 01 copy;- Health Certificate confirming sufficient health, issued by a competent medical authority as per regulations in Circular 14/2013/TT-BYT.

Note: For successful candidates who have been working in the registered professional title for at least 12 months in public, private, or semi-public schools, and have participated in social insurance, they should submit additional documents to this application to propose the appointment of the professional title exempt from internship, including:

- Certified copy of the Decision on resignation or termination of the labor contract; labor contracts from the old unit;- Social Insurance Book, separated print showing the social insurance contribution history, certified by the Social Insurance agency.
