To be specific, according to the content in this Draft, teachers sent for standard training improvement will enjoy the following policies and benefits:
- To be facilitated by the managing and using agency regarding time and to be supported with allocated training funding as per regulations;
- Training time is counted as continuous service time;
- To receive 100% salary and all policies, allowances as per legal regulations;
- To be commended and rewarded for outstanding academic achievements.
- Teachers participating in standard training improvement are exempted from tuition fees.
Additionally, female teachers and those from ethnic minorities, aside from the benefits stipulated above, are also entitled to the benefits under the legal provisions on gender equality and ethnic affairs.
Moreover, to ensure that teachers both meet their teaching schedule at school and fulfill the training requirements, the Ministry of Education and Training has proposed several flexible training modes suitable for working teachers who simultaneously study, such as: Credit-based learning, distance learning, concentrated learning, online learning, and online learning combined with concentrated sessions.
It can be observed that although there is a requirement for teachers to enhance their education standards, the state has provided substantial support, ensuring that teachers are not disadvantaged when participating in the standard training improvement.
