The Law on Social Insurance 2024 has stipulated new regulations on maternity benefits, including an additional case where female employees in Vietnam may take up to 6 months off.
Maternity benefits for female workers are stipulated in the Law on Social Insurance 2014, Decree 115/2015/ND-CP, and Circular 59/2015/TT-BLDTBXH with specific provisions as follows:
