Reporting regime of provincial electricity companies in Vietnam

The reporting regime of provincial power companie in Vietnams is specified in Article 18 of Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT, specifically as follows:

- Weekly report:

Before 11:00 a.m. on Friday of week W, the provincial-level power company is responsible for reporting to the regional electricity corporation, the provincial-level People's Committee, and the Department of Industry and Trade on the situation of electricity supply in the locality from Friday of week W-1 to Thursday of week W, including the following:

+ Power output, maximum capacity allocated and implemented by provincial electricity companies each day of the week;

+ Estimated power output and reduced load capacity each day of the week.

The weekly report of the provincial power company shall comply with the weekly report form on the situation of electricity supply and electricity reduction specified in Appendix 1 issued together with Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT,.

- Monthly report:

Before the 5th of every month, the provincial power company is responsible for reporting to the regional electricity corporation, the provincial People's Committee, and the Department of Industry and Trade on the situation of electricity supply and reduction in the locality of the previous month. includes the following:

+ Electricity output, maximum capacity allocated and implemented by the power company in the month;

+ Estimated electricity output and reduced load capacity in the month;

+ Allocating power output and reduced capacity to power load components and large electricity users in the province;

+ Analysis and clarification of the causes in case the actual implementation of electricity supply is different from the monthly electricity supply plan approved by the People's Committee of the province.

The monthly report of the provincial power company is made according to the monthly report form on the situation of electricity supply and electricity reduction specified in Appendix 1 issued together with Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT,.

Reporting regime of the Electricity Corporation in Vietnam

The reporting regime of the Electricity Corporation is specified in Article 19 of Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT, specifically as follows:

(1) Weekly report

- Hanoi City Electricity Corporation and Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation are responsible for reporting to the People's Committee of the city and the Department of Industry and Trade on the situation of electricity supply in their localities as prescribed in Clause 1 of Article 18 of Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT;

- Before 14:00 on Friday of week W, the electricity corporation is responsible for reporting to the Electricity of Vietnam and the Electricity Regulatory Authority on the situation of electricity supply and reduction from Friday of week W-1 to Thursday of week W, including the following:

+ Power output, maximum capacity allocated and implemented by the power corporation each day of the week;

+ Power output, capacity allocated to provincial-level electricity companies and the situation of electricity load reduction by provincial electricity companies (for regional power corporations);

+ Analyze and clarify the cause in case the actual power output and capacity differ from the allocated level by 10% or more.

The weekly report of the power corporation is made according to the form of weekly report on the situation of electricity supply and electricity reduction specified in Appendix 2 issued together with Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT.

(2) Monthly report

- The Hanoi Electricity Corporation and the Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation are responsible for reporting to the City People's Committee and the Department of Industry and Trade on the situation of electricity supply in their localities as prescribed in Clause 2 of Article 18 of Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT,;

- Before the 7th of every month, the electricity corporation is responsible for reporting to the Electricity of Vietnam and the Electricity Regulatory Authority on the electricity supply situation of the previous month. The content of the report includes:

+ Power output, maximum capacity allocated and implemented by the power corporation each week of the month and the whole month;

+ Estimated power output and load capacity reduced week by week in the month;

+ Power output, capacity allocated to provincial-level electricity companies, and the situation of electricity load reduction by provincial electricity companies (for regional power corporations);

+ Summarization and estimate of the total electricity output, the largest reduced capacity for the load components in the whole month in the area under the management of the electricity corporation;

+ Analysis and clarification of the cause in case the actual total power output and maximum capacity differ from the allocated level by 5% or more.

The monthly report of the power corporation is made according to the form of monthly report on the situation of electricity supply and electricity reduction specified in Appendix 2 issued together with Circular 34/2011/TT-BCT.
