- Vietnam: No longer supports deductions when paying land use fees before due date

- Recently, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 79/2019/NĐ-CP on amendments to Article 16 of Decree No. 45/2014/NĐ-CP regulating collection of land use fees. Several provisions on owning land use levy have been amended, of which one of the notable content is that from the effective date of Decree No. 79/2019/NĐ-CP, land users who pay land use fees ahead of time will no longer receive the deduction as before.
