Individuals and families who wish to perform the surrogate care may register with people’s committees of communes where they reside. However, when applying for surrogate care registration, these individuals and families must fully satisfy the conditions of the surrogate care as regulated in the Children Law 2016 of Vietnam.
The Children Law 2016 of Vietnam officially takes effect from June 01, 2017, according to which there are 14 groups of disadvantaged children as follows:
