LAWNET would like to summarize the fines for violations related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with new regulations of the Decree No. 117/2020/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government.
Recently, cases of illegal entry to Vietnam that were found to have Covid-19 have raised concerns that the disease could cause an outbreak in the community at the end of the year. Current law of Vietnam provides for strict handling of these cases.
Violations related to alcohol, beer and tobacco are sanctioned according to theDecree No. 117/2020/NĐ-CP prescribing penalties for administrative violations in medical sector issued on September 28, 2020 by the Government of Vietnam.
From November 15, 2020, the Decree No. 117/2020/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government will officially take effect. According to this new Decree, the act of not wearing a mask in public places to prevent Covid-19 will be fined 10 times more than before.
This is a notable content of the Decree No. 117/2020/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government prescribing penalties for administrative violations in medical sector. This Decree has increased penalties imposed for enterprises failing to organize dissemination of information about HIV/AIDS prevention and control measures for employees.
