- In the afternoon of March 24, in Hanoi, the General Staff organized the Steering Committee Meeting of the Scheme on the catalog of positions, leadership roles, management, and command within the Vietnam People's Army. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense, and Head of the Steering Committee, presided over the meeting.
