On July 09, 2015, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 61/2015/NĐ-CP on job creation policies and National Employment Fund.
According to Decree No. 61/2015/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, the following entities shall be eligible for support provided by the Government for youth people in building career:
a) Students of upper secondary schools;
b) Students of higher education institutions and vocational education institutions;
c) Graduates of higher education institutions and vocational education institutions.
The above-mentioned entities shall be eligible for:
- Career orientation;
- Provision of information about jobs and career;
- Training in job-search and working skills;
- Probation programs at enterprises and organizations;
- Concessional loans from the National Employment Fund as prescribed.
Besides, Decree No. 61/2015/NĐ-CP also stipulates that youth people wishing to start their own businesses, youth people built up their own businesses shall be eligible for support provided by the Government for youth people in starting businesses. These entities shall be eligible for:
- Provision of knowledge about law, enterprise administration and issues related to starting business;
- Provision of training courses in starting business;
- Concessional loans from the National Employment Fund as prescribed.
According to the socio-economic condition of each period, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant agencies shall request the Prime Minister to decide to support youth people in starting businesses.
