Circular 10/2015/TT-BGTVT stipulates the authority to handle violations in road transport activities by motor vehicles, including:
- The Minister of Transport decides on the handling of violations against the Director General, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam Road Administration, and other subjects under their jurisdiction.
- The Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, centrally-run city decides on the handling of violations against the Director, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport and other subjects under their jurisdiction.
- The Director General of the Vietnam Road Administration:
- Decides on the handling of violations against the Head of the advisory agency on road transport management of the Vietnam Road Administration and other staff under the administration's management;- Suspends the exploitation of international road transport routes, revokes interline permits, and badges issued by him/herself;- Recommends the competent authorities for violations of organizations, individuals to be handled according to regulations.
- The Director of the Department of Transport:
- Decides on the handling of violations against the Head, Deputy Head of the operational management department of road transport of the Department of Transport and other staff under the department's management;- Revokes the consent for route exploitation, revokes badges, and signs issued by him/herself;- Recommends the Vietnam Road Administration and competent authorities for violations of agencies, organizations, and individuals to be handled according to regulations.
- The Head of the inspection team, the inspector, or the person with authority must promptly report in writing on violations of organizations, individuals to the competent authorities to handle according to the provisions of the law.
