Which fields shall the Urban Management Divisions perform the state management in Vietnam? (Illustration)

Decree 37/2014/ND-CP stipulates that, in addition to 10 specialized agencies uniformly organized in all districts as prescribed in Article 7 of this Decree, a number of specialized agencies shall be organized as appropriate to each type of district-level administrative unit as follows:

In districts:

- Economic Divisions: Advises and assists the district People's Committee in performing the state management function in: Handicraft industries; science and technology; industry; commerce;

- Urban Management Divisions: Advises and assists the district People's Committee in performing the state management function in: Construction planning, architecture; construction investment activities; urban development; urban technical infrastructure, industrial parks, economic zones, high-tech zones (including: Water supply, drainage systems in urban areas and industrial parks, economic zones, high-tech zones, building material production facilities; urban lighting, urban green trees; cemetery management, excluding martyr cemeteries; underground urban construction management; joint use management of urban technical infrastructure); housing; public divisionss; building materials; transportation.

In district-level towns and provincial cities:

- Economic Divisions: Advises and assists the People's Committee of district-level towns and provincial cities in performing the state management function in: Agriculture; forestry; salt production; irrigation; aquaculture; rural development; disaster prevention and control; quality, food safety concerning agricultural, forestry, fishery products, and salt; handicraft industries; science and technology; industry; commerce;

- Urban Management Divisions: Advises and assists the People's Committee of district-level towns and provincial cities in performing the state management function in: Construction planning, architecture; construction investment activities; urban development; urban technical infrastructure, industrial parks, economic zones, high-tech zones (including: Water supply, drainage systems in urban areas and industrial parks, economic zones, high-tech zones, building material production facilities; urban lighting, urban green trees; cemetery management, excluding martyr cemeteries; underground urban construction management; joint use management of urban technical infrastructure); housing; public divisionss; building materials; transportation.
