Which Entities Are Required to Submit Periodic Reports to the Ministry of Education and Training?

Recently, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating the policies on periodic reporting under the scope of state management.

According to Clause 1, Article 5 of Circular 19/2020/TT-BGDDT, the entities required to submit periodic reports within the scope of MOET management include:

- State administrative agencies: Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam; People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities (hereinafter referred to as provincial-level People’s Committees); People's Committees of districts, district-level towns, cities under provinces, and cities under centrally-run cities (hereinafter referred to as district-level People’s Committees); People's Committees of communes, wards, commune-level towns (hereinafter referred to as commune-level People’s Committees); Departments of Education and Training under the People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and Department of Education, Science and Technology of Bac Lieu (hereinafter referred to as Departments of Education and Training); Divisions of Education and Training under the People’s Committees of districts, district-level towns, cities under provinces, cities under centrally-run cities (hereinafter referred to as Divisions of Education and Training).

- Organizations and individuals: Universities, academies, institutes (hereinafter referred to as higher education institutions); Colleges of Education; Intermediate schools of Education; public service providers under the management function of the Ministry and such public service providers under the Ministry (hereinafter referred to as affiliated public service providers); Foreign language centers established by the Chairman of the provincial-level People’s Committee or the Director of the Department of Education and Training (if authorized by the Chairman of the provincial-level People’s Committee) (hereinafter referred to as Foreign language centers under the provincial-level People’s Committee); Education Quality Accreditation Centers; other relevant organizations and individuals.
