Which Employee Activities Are Subject to Inspection and Supervision at the Workplace?

On November 07, 2018, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 149/2018/ND-CP, stipulating in detail the contents that employees are entitled to inspect and supervise at the workplace.

Decree 149 has enumerated the contents that employees are entitled to inspect and supervise, including:

- The implementation of labor contracts and collective labor agreements.- The implementation of labor regulations, enterprise rules, and other regulatory documents related to the lawful rights and interests of employees.- The use of reward funds, welfare funds, and funds contributed by employees.- The contribution of trade union funds, payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance by employers.- The implementation of emulation, commendation, discipline, and resolution of complaints and denunciations related to the lawful rights and interests of employees.- The implementation of the Resolutions of the Employee Conference.
