The content is detailed in Circular 30/2016/TT-BGTVT stipulating the procedures for submission and confirmation of maritime protests.
According to Circular 30/2016/TT-BGTVT, the confirmation of maritime protest submissions is under the jurisdiction of the following authorities:
- The competent state authority for confirming maritime protest submissions in Vietnam is the Maritime Port Authority or Representative of the Maritime Port Authority or the People's Committee of the nearest commune.- The competent state authority for confirming maritime protest submissions abroad is the nearest representative agency of Vietnam or the competent authority or organization of the country where the vessel operates.
Also according to Circular 30/2016/TT-BGTVT, the content of the confirmation of maritime protest submission includes:
- The date and time of receipt of the maritime protest submission.- Confirmation of receipt of the maritime protest submission.- The full name, position, and signature of the person confirming the submission of the maritime protest.- The seal of the authority confirming the submission of the maritime protest.
