According to Decision 1706/QD-BKHDT 2024, the timeline for the enterprise investigations in 2025 in the provinces and cities nationwide is as follows:

- Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City: Conducted from April 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025;

- Provinces and cities with 5,000 enterprises or more: Conducted from April 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025;

- Remaining provinces and cities: Conducted from April 1, 2025, to May 31, 2025;

- Corporations and general companies: Conducted from June 1, 2025, to July 15, 2025.

Methods of the enterprise investigations in 2025?

The enterprise investigations in 2025 employ an indirect method by collecting information online through the use of electronic Webform survey questionnaires.

Survey units provide Webform information on the online enterprise investigations portal of the General Statistics Office via the system's authentication using the enterprises' names and codes (passwords) upon accessing the system to fill out the survey.

Content of the enterprise investigations in 2025?

The enterprise investigations in 2025 gather the following information:

- Identification information: Identifying details of the survey unit; sector of production, business activity; type of enterprise; subsidiaries of the enterprise;

- Information on labor and employee income: Number of employees; employees' income;

- Information on business production results and costs: Business activity results, production costs; investment capital; production volume of products; energy consumption; specialized statistical indicators in the National Statistical Indicator System classified by the Vietnamese Economic Sector System and the Vietnamese Product Sector System;

- Information on the industrial products of enterprises and their subsidiaries;

- Information on enterprises' export and import service activities;

- Information on transportation costs and insurance costs of imported goods;

- Information on agricultural, forestry, and fishery production to meet the information requirements of the 2025 Rural, Agricultural Census, including information on:

+ Number of production units, number of employees;

+ Production scale, production capacity;

+ Application of scientific and technical advancements in production, application of digital economy;

+ Status of agricultural land use.

Subjects of the enterprise investigations in 2025?

The subjects of the survey are production and business establishments engaged in production and business activities within the scope of an economic sector at one location (economic sector unit by area) of all national economic sectors (excluding sectors O, U, and T in the Vietnamese economic sector system).

- Sector O: Activities of Communist Party, political-social organizations, state management, national security and defense, mandatory social security;

- Sector U: Activities of international organizations and agencies;

- Sector T: Activities of households employing domestic staff, producing material products and services for self-consumption by households.
