When to Relocate Remote Sensing Data Acquisition Facilities

Decree 03/2019/ND-CP has been signed and promulgated by the Government of Vietnam regarding remote sensing activities. This is the first Circular detailing this issue.

According to Decree 03, the relocation of remote sensing data collection infrastructure shall be carried out in the following cases:

- Due to the requirements of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, when the remote sensing data collection infrastructure cannot continue to exist or operate normally according to technical standards, regulations, and specifications;- Due to the impact of natural conditions, natural disasters causing loss, damage, or other external influences leading to loss, damage, or change in location;- The infrastructure has expired, is no longer valuable for use, or has been replaced by other remote sensing data collection infrastructure.
