When to Relocate or Demolish Surveying Infrastructure Structures

This is a notable content stipulated in Decree 27/2019/ND-CP detailing some articles of the Law on Surveying and Mapping. The document replaces Decree 45/2015/ND-CP.

To be specific:, Decree 27/2019/ND-CP stipulates the relocation and demolition of measurement markers and satellite positioning stations in the following cases:

- Due to the requirements of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, when the measuring infrastructure cannot continue to exist or operate normally according to national technical standards and regulations;- Due to the impact of natural conditions, disasters causing loss, damage, and other external influences causing loss, damage, or change in the position of the measurement markers;- End of use period, no longer in use, or has been replaced by other measuring infrastructure.

Note: National measurement reference points shall not be relocated or demolished.
