When is a Legal Rapporteur Dismissed?

This is a notable provision stipulated in Circular 10/2016/TT-BTP issued by the Ministry of Justice on July 22, 2016.

Circular 10 stipulates that legal reporters are dismissed in the following cases:

- Voluntarily resigning from being a legal reporter due to health reasons, family circumstances, or other legitimate reasons;- No longer being an officer, civil servant, public employee, or officer in the people's armed forces, or transferred to another agency, organization that did not propose recognition of the legal reporter status;- No longer meeting the criteria stipulated in Clause 2 of Article 35 of the Law on Legal Dissemination and Education;- Refusing to conduct legal dissemination and education activities as assigned by the direct management agency, organization, or unit without a legitimate reason three times or more;- Committing one of the prohibited acts stipulated in Article 9 of the Law on Legal Dissemination and Education;- Being sentenced by a court and the sentence has taken legal effect;- Losing civil act capacity or having difficulty in awareness, behavior control, or having limited civil act capacity according to the Civil Code.
