What standards must translators and commonly used languages meet?

This is an important content to note in Circular 20/2015/TT-BTP which details and guides the implementation of certain articles of Decree 23/2015/ND-CP on the issuance of copies from master registers, certification of copies from originals, certification of signatures and certification of contracts, transactions issued by the Ministry of Justice on December 29, 2015.

The translator and the prevalent language must meet the conditions and standards as stipulated in Circular 20/2015/TT-BTP as follows:

- According to Decree No. 23/2015/ND-CP, the translator must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in the foreign language required for translation, or hold a university degree or higher in another major that has been taught in the foreign language required for translation.- A prevalent language is understood as a language that is reflected in many documents and papers used in Vietnam, and many Vietnamese people can translate this language into Vietnamese or vice versa.
