What policies do individuals directly involved in searching and gathering martyr remains receive?

Circular 298/2017/TT-BQP was issued by the Ministry of National Defense providing guidance on the implementation of policies and assurance work for organizations and individuals performing the task of searching and gathering martyrs' remains.

According to the provisions of Circular 298, policies for individuals directly involved in the search and gathering of martyr remains are as follows:

- An allowance of VND 220,000 per person per day for the actual days mobilized to perform the task of searching and gathering martyr remains both domestically and internationally;- Provision of meals at twice the basic meal rate for non-commissioned officers and infantry soldiers, calculated based on the actual days mobilized to perform the task of searching and gathering martyr remains both domestically and internationally;- Supply of specialized uniforms if the individual has been directly performing the task of searching and gathering martyr remains for three months or more;- Arrangement of transportation or reimbursement for travel expenses as per the regulations for officials on duty during the days mobilized to perform the task of searching and gathering martyr remains both domestically and internationally;- In cases of illness or injury, hospital fees and transportation costs will be covered as guided in Clause 9, Article 3 of Circular 298.
