On August 26, 2020, Decree 99/2020/ND-CP was issued by the Government on penalties for administrative violations against regulations on petroleum, and petrol, oil and gas trading in Vietnam.
What is the fine for trading bottled liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) that is not sealed in Vietnam? (Internet image)
Accordingly, Article 41 of Decree 99/2020/ND-CP stipulates penalties for violations against regulations on conditions for circulation of LPG bottles, bottled LPG and mini bottled LPG on market in Vietnam as follows:
- A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 shall be imposed for trading bottled LPG that is not sealed in accordance with regulations.
- A fine ranging from VND 20,000,000 to VND 40,000,000 shall be imposed for any of the violations against regulations on conditions for circulation (including mini bottled LPG) on market:
+ Circulating LPG bottles on the market without documents proving their origin and other mandatory documents of the manufacturer as prescribed;
+ Circulating on the market LPG bottles that fails to conform to technical regulations or fails to undergo technical inspection of occupational safety as prescribed.
In addition, the violator is compelled to recall bottled LPG, mini bottled LPG or LPG bottles that fail to satisfy the conditions for circulation on the market if any of the violations specified above
