October 25, 2016, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 163/2016/TT-BTC regulating the rates, collection policies, submission, management, and use of the fee for visiting the National Museum of History.
The entrance fee to the National History Museum is regulated by Circular 163/2016/TT-BTC as follows:
- For adults: 40,000 VND/person/visit.- For university, college, vocational school students: 20,000 VND/person/visit.- For children, primary and secondary school students: 10,000 VND/person/visit.
- Children are defined as persons from 6 years old to under 16 years old. In cases where it is difficult to determine whether a person is under 16 years old, a birth certificate, passport, identification card, or any other document proving the person is under 16 years old must be presented.- Students are defined as persons holding a student card issued by educational institutions within the national education system in Vietnam.
