The regulations issued along with Circular 23/2019/TT-BLDTBXH stipulate that an associate degree in livestock production is a profession that produces various quality products ensuring food safety and hygiene to meet human needs, supplies raw materials for the processing industry, and exports livestock products, meeting level 5 requirements in the Vietnam National Qualifications Framework.
The main tasks of the profession include: consulting on farm design, providing technical guidance on livestock production; livestock business production; planning, managing, and operating livestock farms and other related duties in the livestock field.
Professionals in livestock production typically work at training and research institutions; livestock companies; animal breeding companies; animal feed production companies; poultry hatcheries; feed businesses; livestock farms; livestock cooperatives; self-employment; government management agencies, administrative units, and other organizations related to livestock production.
Note: Minimum knowledge volume: 2055 hours, equivalent to 75 credits.
