What does the notarization practice apprenticeship registration dossier include?

Circular 04/2015/TT-BTP stipulates that individuals applying for a notary practice internship shall submit one set of internship registration documents directly or via postal service to the Department of Justice where the notary practice organization accepting interns is located. The dossier includes the following documents:

- Notary Practice Internship Registration Form (Form TP-TSCC-01);

- Certificate of Graduation from the Notary Professional Training Course or Certificate of Completion of the Notary Professional Training Course (certified copies or photocopies attached with the originals for comparison).

Within 7 working days from the date of receipt of a complete and valid dossier, the Department of Justice shall register the applicant's name in the List of Notary Practice Interns of the Department of Justice (hereinafter referred to as the List of Interns of the Department of Justice) and shall also notify the applicant and the notary practice organization accepting the intern in writing; in case of refusal, a written notification clearly stating the reasons must be provided.

Additionally, the Circular clearly specifies that individuals in any of the following cases are not eligible for internship registration:

- Those who fall under the cases not eligible for appointment as notaries as stipulated in Article 13 of the Law on Notarization;

- Individuals who are currently officials and public employees (except public employees working at the Notary Office), officers, professional soldiers, or defense workers in the agencies and units of the People's Army; officers, non-commissioned officers, and workers in agencies and units of the People's Police.

Individuals registered in the List of Interns of the Department of Justice are referred to as Notary Practice Interns (hereinafter referred to as Interns). Interns have the rights and obligations as stipulated by the Law on Notarization and this Circular.
