This is the important content mentioned in Circular 26/2013/TT-BYT issued by the Minister of Health guiding blood transfusion activities.
The Ministry of Health stipulates the benefits for blood donors who are eligible to donate blood per the provisions in Article 12 of Circular 26/2013/TT-BYT and voluntarily donate whole blood or some blood components, as follows:

- Provided with information on the signs and symptoms of diseases caused by hepatitis viruses, HIV, and some other bloodborne diseases.- Explained about the blood collection process, potential unwanted complications, and the tests to be performed before and after blood donation.- Guaranteed confidentiality of clinical examination results, test results; counseled on any abnormalities detected during health check-ups or blood donation; guided on health care; counseled on abnormal test results per the provisions in Clause 4, Article 17 of Circular 26/2013/TT-BYT.- Cared for and treated in case of any unwanted complications occurring during and after blood donation per Appendix 4 issued with Circular 26/2013/TT-BYT. Supported with care and treatment costs in case of any unwanted complications occurring during and after blood donation. The funding for supporting care and treatment of blood donors under this provision is implemented in accordance with the law.- Considered, decided upon, and honored, commended, and ensured other spiritual and material benefits for blood donors by competent authorities in accordance with the law.
