Circular 56/2018/TT-BLDTBXH specifically stipulates the knowledge and skills that students in the Logistics specialty at the intermediate level after graduation need to achieve as follows:

Regarding knowledge:

  • Describe the contents and legal provisions related to logistics activities;
  • List the types of logistics operations;
  • Describe occupational safety standards, goods security;
  • Describe the basic concepts in logistics related to logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Describe the process and methods of performing tasks in logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Describe the features and operation methods of equipment and infrastructures in logistics related to logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Describe the types of records/documents in logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Describe the common incidents in logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Describe basic knowledge about politics, culture, society, law, national defense security, physical education as stipulated.

Regarding skills:

  • Properly implement international rules (Incoterms, UCP, etc.) in logistics activities;
  • Detect and prevent risks and hazards regarding occupational safety, goods security;
  • Use software applications for logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Implement procedures in logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Operate specialized machinery and equipment in automated warehouse and yard systems;
  • Prepare periodic reports according to regulations;
  • Read and prepare documents used for logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Detect and promptly report common incidents in logistics administration, freight forwarding, general cargo handling, warehousing operations;
  • Use basic information technology as stipulated; apply information technology in specific tasks related to the industry;
  • Use basic foreign languages, achieving level 1/6 in the Vietnamese Foreign Language Competency Framework; apply foreign language skills in some specialized tasks related to the industry.
